Cranes by Industry
Aerospace
For the handling and assembly work processes of the aeronautical industry involving lightweight but large parts, the cranes that are installed have beams with large spans and the hoists require high precision to facilitate the assembly processes.
Also, cranes with hoist transfer are usually installed to move the components to any part of the factory, improving the production processes.
Shipyards
For this sector, GH offers robust equipment with several lifting heights in the same bridge, both independent and synchronised for tilting, with the possibility of integrating magnetisation and welding equipment into our cranes.
This is equipment suitable for heavy loads and with great volume.
Outdoor Material Handling
GH Cranes & Components designs and manufactures a complete line of gantries, semi-gantries and electric overhead traveling cranes with hoist (normally open winch). Shipbuilders use these cranes to unload, move and load steel sheets, beamsand profiles outdoors, typically using a spreader equipped with electromagnets.
Indoor Material Handling
Our gantry cranes, semi-gantry cranes and electric overhead traveling cranes are also perfect for moving materials indoors. They are suitable for warehouse use, as well as during manufacture (supplying steel sheets and beams to cutting and assembly tables, for example).
Welding Processes
We design and manufacture a range of cranes for carrying welding equipment. They make your welding processes easier, improve access, reduce manufacturing time and increase safety during operations.
Outdoor Assembly
GH Cranes are designed to move large, heavy sections of sea vessels with ease and safety. Typical applications include handling of sections and assemblies, moving assemblies outside, assembling sections, and finishing and flipping sets.
Lifting Vessels on Shore: Winches
We design and manufacture a range of cranes for carrying welding equipment. They make your welding processes easier, improve access, reduce manufacturing time and increase safety during operations.
Lifting Vessels on Shore: Jibs
GH Cranes are designed to move large, heavy sections of sea vessels with ease and safety. Typical applications include handling of sections and assemblies, moving assemblies outside, assembling sections, and finishing and flipping sets.
Bringing Vessels on Shore: Mobile Hoists
Our wide range of self-propelled gantries lift up to 400 tons. Robust and easy to operate, they are also easy to service and manoeuvre. The components in our mobile hoists are mounted in a perfect array, allowing them to life all kinds of vessels.
Bringing Vessels on Shore: Synchrolifts
The larger the vessel, the larger the equipment. Synchrolifts from GH cranes lift large, heavy vessels out of the water by lifting them from beneath.
Mobile Industrial Buildings
If you can’t move the component into the building, move the building. GH Cranes builds mobile industrial buildings that are driven by electric-motorgearboxes on tracks. They are useful in large working areas where different production processes require working outdoors or under cover. The units rest on a set of motorized bogies and are equipped with guide rollers for safety when on the move.
Automotive
These are cranes for production processes and storage of coils.
It is equipment for handling dies and tilting processes. Equipped with several lifting heights in the same bridge, facilitating and making the tilting manoeuvres safe.
Press Parts Manufacturing
If you need cranes for press parts manufacturing and assembly, GH Cranes can help. We have deep expertise in automotive manufacturing. We understand that your unique processes require tailor-made lifting solutions.
Coil Warehouse Management
Out standard hoist-mounted cranes are equipped with the options you need, such as semiautomatic and automatic operation. Our cranes work with a wide range of tools for coil handling and cycle assurance. We customize our cranes to work perfectly with any tool you use in your coil warehouse.
Stamping Dies Management
Wherever you have stamping dies, you need dependable cranes. Our double-hook hoist cranes are some of the most widely used cranes in the automotive sector. They are efficient and come in a range of speeds that offer maximum operational flexibility to your facility.
Parts Manufacturing
Manufacturing automotive parts involves a mix of standard and customlifting solutions. Our transfer cranes are equipped with micro-speed functionsand our underslung cranes come with a wide range of hoist options to help you manufacture your automotive parts more efficiently.
Automotive Assembly
When it comes to auto assembly, our cranes do the heavy lifting. In automotive assembly plants on five continents you will find our standard wire-rope, hoist-mounted cranes in operation, lifting up to 20 tons morning, noon and night. You’ll also find our chain-hoist mounted cranes working around the clock safely and efficiently.
Steel constructions
We develop robust equipment for tilting with a wide range of lifting capacities suitable for the handling processes, integrating magnetisation equipment or other below-the-hook tools for the manoeuvring.
Renewable energies
In this sector, we have a wide range of products for the handling of the different components that make up the entire wind turbine.
GH has a highly developed and standardised product for Renewable Energies, which has a wide range of lifting capacities and below-the-hook tools.
Railways
We differentiate between maintenance and manufacturing cranes.
This is equipment that needs perfect synchronisation between cranes for cases of wagon handling with two or more bridges. We also have special (standardised) facilities for handling stations, transfer of rail tracks, etc.
The maintenance cranes are simple cranes from the standard range adapted to the needs of each process.
Foundry
Process cranes for handling molten iron with exceptional lifting safety and smooth and progressive manoeuvres.
These are cranes adapted to the difficult environmental conditions of the premises in which they have to carry out their work: high temperatures, aggressive suspended dust, etc.
In this sector, we also have cranes for handling moulds.
Container crane
Normally this is a question of storage process cranes with very high lifting heights and where the sway control becomes a critical aspect for the configuration of our equipment.
Steel handling
These are mainly warehouse cranes. This is equipment of average and low capacity, sufficiently agile to handle different steel warehouse products: sections, rebar, rods, tubes, etc.
Stone handling
The products we offer are standardised machines of medium and high capacity. These are gantry cranes for exterior work and raw stone storage.
Marinas
Products adapted to the marine environments for which they are intended.
Nautical jib cranes and self-propelled gantry cranes with a wide range of capacities to cover the maximum very specific requirements of this demanding sector and the differentiated profile of its customers.
Public works
We have products designed for different applications in this sector: Cranes for manufacturing – reinforcement, demoulding, voussoirs, etc. – gantry cranes for voussoirs, below-the-hook tools.
Paper mills
Both process and maintenance equipment with large tonnage and particularly suitable for environments with high humidity and high temperatures.
Concrete precast
We have products designed for different applications in this sector: Cranes for manufacturing – rebar, demoulding, etc.
Standardised cranes with “true vertical lift” to guarantee the proper demoulding of the precast concrete.
As in the Public Works sector, productivity is the priority with speeds according to the demands of customers.
Waste management
